Our established productions On the road and BALSAM will continue their international tour. We will also keep contributing to the Endless Stew project and once again transform our home base, Matterhorn, into a creative theatre workshop for children during Theatre Storm (XL).

After their successful collaboration on the alchemistic laboratory BALSAM and long runs of shows at home and abroad, Zefiro Torna and Laika are joining forces once again in a performance that fine-tunes the senses.

Can tastes be audible, colours tangible, smells visible? Images, tastes, smells and textures converge with live electro-acoustic music, while sonic layers meld with mesmerizing 15th-century melodies, and the whole piece becomes a single, layered sensory experience. HYPERSENSES subtly throws the brain off balance and plunges the audience into an intense state of euphoria.

With this message, Laika supports the call of the Flemish cultural institutions to the Belgian government for a more decisive policy against Israel’s flagrant human rights violations in Gaza and the West Bank. We urge the Belgian government to work towards a ceasefire, respect for international law, and the protection of human rights organizations.
