We look back on a fantastic premiere of  Superheroes - Letzte Schlacht, the result of a brand-new collaboration between Laika and the renowned theatre for young audiences, Schauburg München! Superheroes - Letzte Schlacht is a performance about the glory and the dark side of being a superhero. A show that bears the hallmark of director Michai Geyzen: visual, wordless and energetic physical theatre.

We are incredibly proud of this new co-production and would like to thank everyone in front and behind the scenes at Schauburg München for their enthusiasm and hospitality!

Last March, our other German co-production, Der Koch und der halbe Soldat (Laika & tjg. theater junge generation), hit the road again as a feature at the famous Leipziger Buchmesse. This edition, the Netherlands and Flanders were guests of honor at the book fair, so our theatre adaptation of Dutch author Benny Lindelauf's books could not be left out.

Der Koch und der halbe Soldat will be travelling to Leipzig again in May, this time as a guest of the Sächsisches Theatertreffen. But first, this captivating anti-war fairy tale will play a home game in Dresden.

Laika just spent two incredible weeks at Le Channel in Calais (FR)! There, the audience could join either a briny SEA MEAL, performed for the first time entirely in French, or the culinary Les grandes tables de Peter De Bie. Or both! And apparently, it left a mark on our audience:

The tragicomic Light/house (Laika & hetpaleis) will start a packed tour in Belgium! Light/house is about three people who are left on their own, forgotten by the rest of the world. They lose each other and themselves, until someone suddenly shows up and wipes them of their feet…
